Bangalore (Bengaluru) is the capital of Karnataka. It is the third most populated city in India and is located in Bengaluru Urban district. It’s north and east sides are bounded by the Bengaluru Rural district, west side by the Ramanagara district and the south side by the state of Tamil Nadu.

Bangalore generally enjoys a more moderate climate throughout the year because of its high elevation. Temperatures fall to an average of 15 0C in January and it goes a high of 39 0C and above in April Month.

The months of September, October, and August are the rainy season of  Bengaluru. It receives rainfall from both northeast and southwest monsoons.

The Cubbon Park: This 100 years old park is located in the central part of the city. “The Cubbon Park” officially known as, “Sri. Chamarajendra Park”  provides sylvan surroundings to the State Legislature building- the Vidhana Soudha and the High Court Buildings. It is far from 2.5km Bengaluru city railway station and 3km from the Majestic bus station.

Iskcon: Situated at Hare Krishna Hill is  hillock far from Bengaluru city Railway station -6.9km, Yeshwanthpur railway station-2.2km, and Majestic Bus terminal-7.4kms

The 400 years old tree is spread across 3 acres and has a huge circumference of more than 250 meters. It is away from Bengaluru city Railway station -32km Majestic bus terminal-31km.

The Archaeology Survey of India maintains the palace is located at the center of Old Bangalore near Kalasipalyam bus stand. It is away from Bengaluru city Railway station -3.3km Majestic bus terminal-2.5km.

How to reach Bangalore

By Air

India’s third busiest airport “Kempegowda International Airport” also known as Bengaluru International Airport is located in Devanahalli, about 40 km from the city center. It is well connected by frequent flights to and from all major cities in India.

By rail

The two major railway stations in Bengaluru are Bengaluru City Railway Station and Yeswantpur Junction. Both railway stations have regular trains to and from the rest of Karnataka and all major cities in India.

By road

Bengaluru is well connected by a good network of private and government buses to all cities within Karnataka and also nearby cities around the state like Goa, Mumbai, Pune Kochi Chennai, etc.
