BIS ScientistB- Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), a statutory body under the administrative control of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Govt. of India, has announced notification for the recruitment of Scientist-B vacancies.
These posts are in the Pay Level 10 as per the Seventh Central Pay Commission plus allowances as applicable. The gross remuneration at the time of joining will be approximately Rs. 87,000/- in Delhi at present.

Qualification for BIS Scientist B
1) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent with not less than 60% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST candidates).
2) Having a valid GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score of 2018/2019/2020. The GATE score must be valid as on 31.03.2020 (closing date of application).
AGE LIMIT for BIS Scientist B
The maximum age limit for candidates is 30 years of age as on 31st March 2020.
Relaxation age limit for SC/ST/OBC/ Persons with Benchmark Disabilities/Ex-Servicemen shall be as notified by Central Government, from time to time.
