Chilli Chicken

Chilli chicken is a common Indo-Chinese dish of chicken. This eminent Chinese flavoured starter dish is best to serve with Fried rice and Hakka noodles. Mainly boneless chicken is used in this dish. If you like to use boned chicken, then you can use without a worry.

Prepare Chilli Chicken

Step 1.

Ingredients

Ginger garlic paste – 1 Tablespoon

All-purpose flour (Maida) – 1/2 cup

Corn flour – 1/2 cup

Red chilli powder – 2 Teaspoon

Black Pepper powder – 1/2 Teaspoon

Salt as per Taste

Lemon juice – One medium lemon

Egg – 1

Boneless chicken – 500 gm. (cut into medium size)

Preparation

Take a bowl, add ginger garlic paste, All-purpose and Corn flour, add Red chilli powder, Black pepper powder, Lemon juice and egg. Mix all ingredients properly. Add Salt as per taste.

Now add Masala in Boneless chicken and coat all chicken pieces properly with Masala. Keep aside marinated chicken for minimum 10 to 15 minutes

Step 2.
After 15minutes of Marinate,

Heat the oil in enough quantity for frying. Deep-fry all chicken pieces in the oil on Medium flame. Fry chicken until it gets light golden shade.

Step 3.
Chilli Chicken Gravy

Ingredients

Oil – 1 tablespoon

Finely chopped Ginger-1 tablespoon

Finely chopped Garlic-2 tablespoon

Sliced Green chillies – 2

Finely chopped capsicum – 1 cup

Finely chopped Spring onion- ½ cup

Curry leaves – 10 leaves

Pepper powder-A pinch

Tomato sauce -4 tablespoon

Red chilli sauce – 2 tablespoon

Green chilli sauce – 2 tablespoon

Soya Sauce – 1 tablespoon

Salt as per taste

Preparation

Heat one-tablespoon oil in a frying pan and add finely chopped garlic and ginger. Sauté until it gets light golden shade. Now add sliced green chillies, capsicum curry leaves and pepper powder. Stir all the vegetables for 3-4 minutes. Then add tomato sauce, red chilli sauce, green chilli sauce, soya sauce. Mix all the sauces properly and cook for 1 minute.

After that, add the fried chicken pieces and chopped spring onion. Mix the chicken and sauces properly then close the lid and cook for 5 minutes on simmer flame.

The tasty spicy chilli chicken is ready to serve
