After accessing DigiLocker on websites or mobile apps, you can upload any document through ‘Uploaded Documents’ section. The eSign facility helps to sign electronically for the purpose self-attesting. After sign up with Aadhaar card and cell phone number DigiLocker allows one GB dedicated cloud storage space for your valuable documents.
The issuer (registered organisations) can push electronic copies of documents and certificates directly into resident’s (user) lockers. The format of the file which can upload only pdf, jpeg and png format files in the DigiLocker. All eSigned files are available in the pdf format after signing.

How to create DigiLocker account?
Go to DigiLocker website or download DigiLocker app on your smartphone.
Your mobile number will be authenticated by sending an OTP (one-time password) followed by selecting a username & password. This will create your DigiLocker account.
After successful creation of DigiLocker account, you can voluntarily provide your Aadhaar number (issued by UIDAI) to avail additional services.
