Palak Paneer is delicious as well as nutritious. You can serve with Palak Paneer Sandwich for breakfast or give it to children in their tiffin, and use with rice and rotti, everyone will like it very much. Making Palak paneer is very easy and today we are telling you about how to make spinach paneer with easy steps.

Ingredients for Palak Paneer

  1. 500 gram Palak (approx. Twin) (open)
  2. 250 gram of fresh cheese
  3. 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  4. 2 Medium tomatoes
  5. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  6. 1 tsp garlic paste
  7. 1/4 tsp ginger paste
  8. 3-5 green chilies
  9. 1 tsp coriander powder
  10. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  11. 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  12. ½ tsp Garam Masala
  13. 2 tbsp oil
  14. Salt to taste

Steps for prepare Palak Paneer

Remove the stem from the palak and wash the leaves thoroughly, then cut into pieces. Heat a glass of water in a pot. When the water is become hot add the palak pieces with a pinch of salt. And let the palak boil for 5 minutes, when the palak boils, off the stove. Drain the water from the palak and keep it in a plate, when the spinach gets cold, grind it in a grinder with green chilies and make a paste without adding water.

Cut the paneer into pieces as per your choice and shallow fry on medium heat. Dip the fried paneer pieces in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes will make them soft.

Heat one tablespoon oil (you can use the remaining oil which is used for fry to paneer) in a pan add cumin seed, fenugreek seed, ginger-garlic paste, chopped onion and fry till it turns golden color then add tomato pieces. If you have enough time you can grind this half-cooked mixture in a mixer grinder it will help the masala easily mix with the palak puree.

Continually stirring the masala for a while then add ground palak. Add garam masala and salt then cook the mixture for one or two minutes while stirring carefully. When the spinach is well roasted, add 1/3 cup of water, mix it, and cook on low heat

When the spinach starts to boil, add fried paneer and cook for five minutes. After that add some Kasuri methi and mix and turn off the gas.

If you like, you can add 1/4 cup cream to the palak paneer it will make your dish tastier.
